It is centraly located - wakling distance of historic centre and near nice little restaurants with local dishes. Our room had a big terrace with beautiful view of city. The room was clean and bathrom was spacious. The breakfast was good for italian standards if I compare it to my previous visits to Italy. The staff was kind and approchable and gave us good recomendations.

The view was breathtaking, but if you don’t have a balcony with a city view it would honestly suck. Worth paying the extra for the balcony. The breakfast was good with lots of variety. It was clean, and comfy and close to touristy things. They have a TV with Netflix sign in for nighttime which is nice.

The staff was very kind and helpful. Breakfast each morning was delicious. We especially enjoyed the coffee provided by the barrista. The location was good. Everything was within walking distance, including the Town Center, the bus stop, and the train. The rooms were quaint and charming, but not modern. They provided plenty of space. The city view was outstanding, and the kids loved the garden area.

The location was perfect, everything we wanted to see in Siena was in walking distance. We booked an economy room and were pleasantly that it was quite spacious, the bed was large and comfortable and it was clean. The hotel was a perfect base for visiting family and sightseeing and the reception area is very attractive. The included breakfast had plenty of choice and was generous and varied although the dining room is quite crowded and the tables are close together. The staff were friendly and worked extremely hard, I would recommend more staff at breakfast as cutlery and plates ran out. Fresh coffee is available from the bar at breakfast which is much nicer than from the machine For a city centre hotel it was fairly quiet at night and we slept well, we had a garden view but also a side view of the hillside and city which was very nice. Was glad of the provided water in the minibar which wasn’t over expensive.

Right in the heat of siena, it was easy to access the things we wanted to see and do. The hotel also were really helpful with things like organising for us to see am opera... they booked the tickets for us and have clear instructions on how to get there. They were also helpful in giving us some kitchen utensils so we could enjoy some snacks and delights we had bought elsewhere. They also let us leave our cat for a few hours in the parking garage after we had checked out, so we could see the city and do other tourist things.

Hotel Minerva is one of the few hotels located within the city walls of Siena that provide parking space in the same building: very useful when you intend to explore the countryside. Our room was quite big, but most importantly, it had a view of part of the old centre, including San Francesco. The hotel is only a 15-minute walk to the centre, but it is fairly close to some of the most authentic restaurants: we must thank the very friendly staff at the reception, who gave us plenty of useful tips and were always eager to help!

Some rooms on 1st floor have fantastic balconies overlooking Siena. Paid car park was very handy too.

A great hotel in a good location. We walked up from the train & bus station, prob 15-20mins. A pleasant walk into the old town again maybe 15-20 mins to Piazza and Duomo. Our room was a decent size, plenty of space to put suitcases, clothes etc. Bathroom was quite narrow but shower was a good size and worked well. The best thing was the terrace, it was fabulous. So nice to sit out there in the afternoon or evening and enjoy the view and listen to the drumming nearby. The room didn't have a kettle but the reception were happy to give us a pot of hot water, tea bags and milk if we wanted. Good choice for breakfast, didn't have a warmer so the eggs were usually cold.

Although the rooms here are a little tight (fine for one person, ok for a couple), the hotel itself is very nice and the staff are exceptional. The breakfast buffet is extensive and not-to-be-missed. The hotel is about 1-2 km from the Siena train station but it's mostly uphill and wouldn't be advisable with luggage.

Siena is "Must-stay small cultural city". Hotel Minerva's valcony view, rooms ,the area,breakfast...everything was amazingly fantastic!‼︎ Hotel lobby has plenty of space, and everywhere at this hotel has beautiful fragrance of flowers...‼︎ We had the best experience here in this trip spending time at this valcony surrounded by fragrance of seasonal flowers and gazing the fantastic view. But, more than that, I felt the most wonderful thing at this hotel is "people" serviceing for us there. They were always very relaxed and charming and fun people! So we enjoyed talking with them a lot! Grazie mille for everything, ARIGATO from Japan! We will never forget this hotel Minerva, and beautiful city Siena.
